Looking for the HM locations in Pokémon Infinite Fusion? Here is the twist every new player needs to hear: there are no traditional HMs in this game. You will never teach Cut to a Pokémon, and you will never need an HM slave. Instead, Infinite Fusion replaces every HM with a key item that anyone…
Evolution in Pokémon Infinite Fusion confuses almost every new player, because the real question is not “how does my Pokémon evolve” but “how do the two halves of my fusion evolve.” Here is the short answer: each half of a fused Pokémon evolves separately, under its own normal conditions, exactly as if it were unfused….
Metagross is the only pseudo-legendary that is not a Dragon type, and in Pokémon Infinite Fusion that Steel/Psychic typing makes it one of the most flexible fusion partners in the game. It keeps its main-series stat line: base 135 Attack, 130 Defense, and the Clear Body ability that stops opponents from lowering its stats. You…
Tyranitar is the reason half of all late-game teams in Pokémon Infinite Fusion look the same, and it is not because of the sprite. This Rock/Dark pseudo-legendary keeps the stat line that made it famous in the main series: base 134 Attack, 110 Defense, and the Sand Stream ability that summons a permanent sandstorm the…
Pikachu is the rare early-game Electric type that stays useful all the way through Pokémon Infinite Fusion, but only if you catch it in the right place and fuse it in the right order. Most guides copy the vanilla FireRed location data without checking, and in Infinite Fusion that data is wrong: Pikachu is not…
Charizard is the most picked starter evolution in Pokémon Infinite Fusion for a reason that has nothing to do with nostalgia. It has the highest Special Attack of the three Kanto starter final forms (base 109), a wide special movepool, and a Fire typing that the fusion system treats as dominant, which keeps Charizard fusions…
Team Rocket is the backbone of the mid-game in Pokémon Infinite Fusion, but almost everything you remember about them from FireRed is slightly wrong here. The hideout is not under the Game Corner. The Silph Co. finale is a double battle fought alongside your rival. Giovanni’s teams are built from fusions, not the vanilla rosters,…
Your starter choice in Pokémon Infinite Fusion shapes more than the first few hours. Because every Pokémon can be fused, the Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle you pick at Oak’s lab is also the foundation of your fusion plans for the entire game. So what is the best starter fusion in Pokémon Infinite Fusion? There is…
The Shiny Charm in Pokémon Infinite Fusion is not a Pokédex reward. You earn it by finishing the game’s post-game: climbing Mt. Silver, defeating the triple fusion Paldiatina, beating Gold in a battle three years in the future, and walking downstairs in your own home, where your mom hands you a package containing the charm….
Completing the Pokédex in Pokémon Infinite Fusion means catching all 501 base Pokémon, and the reward is unlike anything in the official games: the Magic Boots, which unlock full Debug Mode. There is no Shiny Charm for finishing the dex here (that comes from the post-game instead), no diploma, and no pat on the back….
